Our charity of the month for October 2023 is the American Cancer Society. We will donate $1 to this organization for every ride you attend and we have a special fundraiser, Everybody Cyclepalooza, on Nov 4th benefiting the organization.
The American Cancer Society is a leading cancer-fighting organization with a vision to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. They are improving the lives of people with cancer and their families as the only organization combating cancer through advocacy, research, and patient support, to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to prevent, detect, treat, and survive cancer.
The American Cancer Society has programs and services to help Cleveland residents manage cancer treatment and find the emotional support you need. And best of all, their help is free.
This year alone, more than 600,000 Americans will die of cancer. That’s more than 1,600 people per day in the United States. The American Cancer Society’s mission is to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
